Getting an astrological consultation or natal chart reading can generally be an intense period of wondering why. There is excitement, fear, and a deep need to know everything in one shot. Remember it takes time to unravel your onion and multiple sessions give time for integration, so don’t feel like you need to know everything right now. Just focus on a few important things.

What should you do until your appointment?
It’s always helpful to (write down) have dates if you’re referring to something specific that has happened. If you have it in your mind to ask, having dates will allow a deeper thorough transits to find out why.
You may want to journal how you feel about your reading and what you desire from its outcome.
Be aware of how you feel in the few days leading up to your consultation. Take note of subconscious thoughts.

You’ll hear words like Soul, purpose, evolutionary intentions, and past life themes. The reason we include this language in consultations is because it is the direction we look to when identifying why things happen the way they do. Patterns can be identified and new mental processes can be developed.
You will expect to uncover your natural expression for a compassionate view of things you may not notice about yourself.
We will identify what your Soul came into this life to experience, what it wants to influence, and how to effect change specific to your birth placements. Ultimately we discuss the spiritual intentions of your life and the larger impact you have on the world around you.
You will not hear fear tactics or be prescribed things that are out of your reach. You will not have shame, blame, judgment, or intolerance placed on you. Openness about sexuality is allowed and encouraged, and experiences or subconscious thought processes will receive more elaboration on why, and then how to empower it. Discretion is always practiced.
In evolutionary astrology, taboo subjects come up due to the nature of Pluto and its immense influence on the Soul’s purpose. Therefore, if appropriate, these topics may be brought to the consultation if there is a crisis around it or a need to heal it. (Each situation will be case by case)

You will have the opportunity to participate, confirm, or reject the information you are given. Clarifying or adding context makes this a true consultation, not a fortune-telling session.
